These photos were taken in September 2018 while traveling to Aspen and visiting the surrounding wilderness area. The aspen trees were starting to turn but were not their full characteristic bright yellow yet. The summer had been particularly dry in the region so that is apparent in some of the flora and paths. I love the colors and shapes that provide such a strong natural contrast and vibrance in the photos. I hope you enjoy these scenes as much as I do!
