These photos were taken on a much-anticipated trip to New Orleans for Jazz Fest 2019. Even more grateful to have gotten that trip in with how 2020 turned out. Thanks to a local host, I was shown a side of NOLA that didn’t include Bourbon Street. The food, the culture, the energy, the music, the layered history and resilient people make New Orleans a destination to remember (and revisit)!
